Process

How an idea becomes a product.

Five steps, each with a time box and deliverables you can hold us to. You see working software early, steer as you learn, and your code lives in your own repository from day one.

The journey

Five steps. No black boxes.

Every step ends with something you can see, test and keep — so you always know where the project and the budget stand.

  1. Step 01Typical duration: 1–2 weeks

    Discover

Workshops with your team — and your users, where possible — to map goals, constraints and risks. We leave with a shared definition of what a successful first release looks like.

    You receive

    • Product brief & success metrics
    • Prioritised scope map
    • Technical assessment & estimate
  2. Step 02Typical duration: 1–4 weeks

    Design & prototype

User flows, a visual system and a clickable prototype, tested with real users before production code begins. For AI and games, we prototype the model behaviour or the core loop first.

    You receive

    • User flows & information architecture
    • UI design system & motion specs
    • User-tested clickable prototype
  3. Step 03Typical duration: 2–12 weeks

    Build in sprints

Two-week sprints, each ending in a demo on real devices, plus a short written update every week. You steer priorities as you learn and always know where the budget stands.

    You receive

    • A working build every sprint
    • Source code in your repository
    • Weekly progress & budget report
  4. Step 04Typical duration: 1–3 weeks

    Test & launch

Automated and manual QA across devices, load and security checks, then a staged rollout. We handle App Store, Google Play and WeChat reviews and stay on call through launch week.

    You receive

    • Test report & performance baseline
    • Store & platform submissions
    • Launch runbook & monitoring
  5. Step 05Typical duration: Ongoing

    Operate & grow

We watch the numbers with you, fix what users trip over and ship improvements on a steady cadence — or hand everything to your team with full documentation and training.

    You receive

    • Maintenance & support plan
    • Analytics review & roadmap
    • Documentation & team handover
Principles

How we work together.

Four habits that keep projects transparent — and keep surprises out of your inbox.

Engagement models

Pick the model that fits.

Same team, same standards — only the commercial shape changes. Not sure which fits? We’ll recommend one after our first call.

  1. 01

    Fixed-scope project

A clearly defined product or release, delivered for a fixed price on an agreed timeline. Scope is locked after discovery, and any change goes through a simple written change request.

    Best for

MVPs, campaign mini programs and well-defined first releases

  2. 02

    Dedicated product team

A stable squad — product, design, engineering and QA — working as an extension of your company and billed monthly. Scale up or down with one month’s notice.

    Best for

Live products, games in operation and long-term roadmaps

  3. 03

    Consulting & proof of concept

A time-boxed engagement of two to six weeks that answers one hard question: is this AI use case viable, which engine fits, will the architecture scale? You get a working prototype and a clear recommendation.

    Best for

Validating AI ideas, technical due diligence and architecture reviews

In one of three ways, matching our engagement models: a fixed price for a defined scope, a monthly fee for a dedicated team, or a set fee for a time-boxed consulting engagement. Every estimate is itemised, so you can see what drives the cost — and trade scope for budget if you need to.

It depends on scope. As a guide, a focused mini program or AI pilot is typically planned at 4–8 weeks, products with deeper integrations at two to four months, and casual games at three to six months, with bigger titles taking longer. Whatever the project, you’ll see working software at the end of the first two-week sprint.

You do. Once the related invoices are paid, all source code, designs, documentation and any models trained on your data belong to you — in repositories you control from day one. Open-source components keep their own licences, and our own pre-existing, general-purpose tooling comes with a perpetual licence for use in your product.

Yes — we’re happy to sign your NDA before any detailed discussion. We work on least-privilege access, keep data in your own cloud accounts wherever possible, never use it to train models for anyone else, and handle personal data in line with Hong Kong’s PDPO and, for mainland users, the PIPL. Sensitive AI systems can be deployed privately on your own infrastructure.

Every project includes a 60-day warranty: defects we find or you report are fixed at no cost. After that, you can choose a monthly maintenance plan with agreed response times — covering monitoring, OS and platform updates, security patches and small improvements — or take everything in-house with a full handover.

Send a few lines about your idea through the contact form or by email. We’ll reply within one business day and set up a free 30-minute call. Fixed-scope projects are paid in milestones — typically 30% at kickoff, 40% at beta and 30% at launch — while dedicated teams are billed monthly.
